RARE ANTIQUE CRATED GEARHART KNITTING MACHINE KNITTER COMPENDIUM - CIRCA 1920's
As can be seen, this GEARHART KNITTING MACHINE made in CLEARFIELD, PA still has it's yarn from when a partial sock was made - so all needles are present - as the yarn is still hooked into the needle array.  There are extra needles as shown.  Includes ONE DRUM, ONE pulley WHEEL, and several other accessories as shown.   Obviously, this sturdy unit was used and worked fine back in the day.  With some not shown original factory papers in poor shape but present - distressed envelope postmarked early 1920's.

Wear and scratches to finish is consistent with age and use.  Please see all photos, as they are part of the description.   Seems to be in working condition, but needs some cleaning oiling.  Some spats of minimal surface rust needs attention  - but once cleaned up and oiled - it will be ready to roll.
